There are no longer any 1, 2, 3, or 4 letters domain names left and each day the number of domain names available are decreasing at an alarming rate. Below are some guide lines for coming up with a domain name.
First of all, choose a domain that best represents your business or web site use. Refer to the above.
Picking a good domain first of all depends how you intend to use it. If I were going to have a web site about me and not to sell products, I would probably use my name example www.charliegoldwater.com but if I were going to sell guns I would want a domain name that includes keywords. An example would be www.goldwatergunsandpistols.com
Hyphens are becoming more and more common as domain name choice is getting slimmer. I like to use the hyphen to separate words in long confusing domain names. Example, I would prefer www.monies-exchange.com over www.moniesexchange.com. Google robots do not know if they are dealing with a sexchange or an exchange.
